Up to 265 Children aged 5-18 years from all over the world are expected to decend on the championship course of the IBB Golf and Country Club Abuja between April 9 - 14 2012 to play the 1st KGI All African Junior Golf Championships. Prizes to be won: 1. Top 5 positions in all age categories to recieve trophies and other prizes. 2. Qualifying Spots for the top scorers to the U.S Kids European, U.S Kids Teen and U.S Kids World Championships in 2012. 3. All expenses paid 1 week trip by the PGA of America for top male and female player to their magnificent PGA Training Facility in Port St Lucie, Florida 4. Sponsorhip by KGI to USGA Amateur and USGA Junior Amateur ((Boys & Girls) championships. 5. Various sports and educational scholarships opportunities sponsorsed by KGI Foundation. The event organised by the Kids Golf International/Nigerian Kids Golf in partnership with the Ladies Section of IBB Golf and Country Club will play host to golfing talents of this and future generation. The event is recognised by the U.S Kids Golf Foundation and PGA of America. Tops scorers and winners will be selected to play at the U.S. Kids European Championships in Gullane, Scotland between June 5 - 8 2012 and U.S Kids World Championships in Pine Hurst, U.S.A in August. The dinner and prize giving dinner will award prizes to top five positions of all age groups. It will also be award night to recognise great Nigerians and organisations who have made noticeable contributions to the development of the game of golf in Nigeria.
